VW Polo 1,6 A6
Hobby-car start a new activity- production of racing car. Even though we were able to prepare a racing car in the past, we never managed to fully produce a car with our own project, since we were executing others projects. Now we are proud to say that we have our own project, whcih we can produce. Thanks to OP Competitivenes and European fund for regional development, we are able to use all the knowledge needed and all the tools needed to make that reality.
The car is based on VW Polo it has atmospheric 1,6 engine with new concept prepared for group A6. Sequentional or manual gearbox, 355 mm brake discs with 4-piston brake calipers, 17'' wheel base, settable suspension with compensators.
We are accepting orders now for production for this car. We will soon have the first car available to show and test.

VW Polo KitCar
In 2011 the team of Hobby-Car prepared a VW Polo KitCar.
VW Polo WRC in Bulgaria
For season 2012 we decided to make a copy of VW Polo WRC.
We decided that we should meet the challenge and build a copy of Polo WRC. We were thrilled and excited for the new car. The project was different as it was the first time we were building a car with turbo and four wheel drive. The engine is 1,8 with turbo charger Garett and Efi electronics, the brakes and clutch are AP Racing. We decided to work with brands we have already worked with because we did not have a lot of time. The whole car was built for just 27 days, mainly thanks to Dimitar Ivanov (Mitko). He wouldn't make it without the help of Emo and Milen, thanks to who the car is so amazingly beautiful.
The first race of the car was Rally Bulgaria 2012. We are satisfied with the car and we already know in which direction we should further improve it in the future.
