Hobby Car rally team has a history in the world of motor sports in Bulgaria. The team constructs and produces racing cars and takes place in races from the national and European championship. The founder of the team is Plamen Pantaleev. The company the team is structured at is the representative for Volkswagen for Ruse and the region.
During the last year the team has produced several rally cars, which are competing successfully around the world. Based in the Volkswagen Dealership in Ruse (Bulgaria), the team is specialist in Volkswagen racing racs. More than one VW Golf and Polo have been developed by our team- both for professional and enthusiast projects.

Meet our team
Plamen Pantaleev afirst meet more than ten years ago. Since then they have been close friends. Their first rally as a team was in 2011 with the innovative Volkswagen Polo KitCar. The car needed the best team possible and the obvious solution was Plamen and Vasko. Plamen is currently the head of the Ethics commision for the Bulgarian Automobile Sport Federation.
Plamen Pantaleev is a well known in the motorsport world in Bulgaria. He first started racing 2000 with a Volkswagen Golf. During the years his goal has been champion titles and engineering excellence. However, during the latest year he has focused on training and developing the boys and the girls part of the team.
Iskren Veselinov is part of the team. He is mechanic, participates in the Hillclimb championship and Drift Championship. He debuted in Hillclimb in 2013 and won the Championship title during his first racing year. We cannot wait to see what future he has in front of him.
Damien Beal joined the team in 2013. He is our International buyer and one of our Car Developers. He has a huge passion for Renault racing cars, which is a good addition to the team experience with VW. He plans to participate in the national championship in HillClimb and Rally.
Tsvetelina Pantaleeva does Sales and Marketing for the team. She is taking care of all of the administrative work. She is the lucky charm of the team.
This is our team of marshals before their first race. Hobby-Car is proud that they created not only good marshals but also a nice society that gives back to each of their lifes. Here are the best marhsals in the country.
Rosko Mateev is one of the licenced drivers in the team. He takes part in the circuit championship. With just the few races that he has done, he sets good start for the future.
